🍞 It's our last week before our Summer break. We're open Thursday-Saturday as usual, so do come along and grab yourself a loaf, bagel, or focaccia.

❄️ Bread freezes really well, so if there's space in the freezer, why not get an extra loaf to stock up. Remember, we can slice it for you too.

How's Summer going for you?

☀️ As July is ending, we're closing in on our traditional Summer Break. Our last bake of the summer will be on Saturday August 8th, but we're baking as usual up to that point. We'll have all the usual loaves, and we may even sneak in testing some new bakes too.

🧡 With wellbeing being at the heart of what we do, our break gives the team a chance to recharge and rest, as well as an opportunity to carry out some maintenance to the Bakehouse building.

🛒 These last couple of weeks are a great chance to stock up. What breads do you like to have a supply of in the freezer?

🥯 As well as having bagels on the shelves Thursday-Saturday, we also teach people to make them. If you're interested in making your own bagels, we've got a workshop coming up at the start of September.

One of the things Stoneham Bakehouse is about is supporting #wellbeing, and for some there is benefit in really taking notice of the changes in the dough as we knead. Even when it's in the mixer, focussing on the dough hook cutting through the dough, is grounding and allows a moment of pause.
