We bake a lot of sourdough loaves, but we also bake yeasted tin loaves too. Made with a small amount of baker's yeast and a long slow prove to maximise flavour and texture.

🍞 The team are just about to open the doors and we've got a load of bread for you this morning.
🥯 Everything from bagels to buns, focaccia and a whole pile of loaves for you to choose from. We close when we sell out, so hurry down to your neighbourhood Bakehouse to get something to kickstart the weekend.

It's been a bit hot recently hasn't it? 🥵

The current run of heat waves have affected us all, and it's no different for us bakers. You may have seen we've been closed, had different opening hours, baked less, or you favourite bread is a little bit different from usual.

🌡️ Temperature is both your friend and your enemy as a baker; too little and everything is very slow, too hot and the proving process can run away with you. Managing all this can be a challenge, and we don't always get it quite right.

We really appreciate your understanding and patience.
